There are a few things to keep in mind:

A) We recommend selecting a keyword that consists of multiple words (e.g., “bicycle bags double” or “wrist brace right”). If you advertise or have advertised on Bol.com: Look closely at which keywords have generated clicks and sales. 

B) Make sure your product is in the right category. You do this by comparing your product category with 3 competitors. Which category are they in? Make sure this category is identical! We see that this sometimes goes wrong. Ranking is not possible if your product is not placed in the correct category.

C) Your product should already rank in Bol.com on the first 150 positions. If the product is untraceable, we advise you to contact us first so we can help you solve this.

For a product page to successfully rank for a keyword, there are a few conditions:

The product is live with stock on Bol.com/en/ or Bol.com/be/

The product has a review average of at least 3.5 out of 5, or no reviews yet.

If you want the top 10 search guarantee, the keyword should have no more than 8000 search results

Your product must be findable in search results for your chosen keyword

The product is not within a variation.

We recommend selecting a keyword consisting of multiple words (e.g., “fitness mat 200 cm”). Tip: If you advertise or have advertised on Bol.com: Look closely at which keywords have generated clicks and sales.

You can, but we cannot guarantee in that case that you will rank top 10. The chance is there, but we cannot guarantee it.

All we need from you is the product URL and 1 keyword consisting of 2 or 3 terms for the product you want ranked, your email address and your business address. We do not need any payment information.

Yes you really are not stuck with anything when you place an order for a trial campaign. We do not ask for payment details when you place an order for a trial campaign. All we ask of you is to leave a review on our trustpilot page, helping us with a positive review (if you liked it of course!) :).

Your product will rise in ranking by applying our advice from the advisory report you receive. In addition, your ranking will increase due to the user signals we send to your product listing (SEO). If you decide to end your campaign, the SEO will stop. Depending on the competition (do they lower their prices? Do they come up with new products), your ranking will drop back down in the rankings. The exact position is hard to predict. Our experience shows that a product returns to its previous position in 7 to 30 days after the end of a campaign.

Pausing campaigns is unfortunately not possible. You need to make sure yourself that you have enough products in stock, and have your product in the correct category.

Our service focuses on search results. So when a customer searches for a product, he or she gets to see the search results in almost all geveallen. This is where we rank you.

In some exceptional cases, the consumer will not see search results but a product category page after a search. We recommend that you do not enter orders for such keywords.

So this way you will rank high without paying per click. So our service is useful for advertisers who currently pay per click. Many of our clients earn back our service because they spend less on sponsored products.

Our systems are well secured to exclude third party access.

We do send you a progress report every Friday with insight into the development of your rankings of your products. This allows you to look at your sales data to see if you also see an increase in sales.

1. Is your product in the right category? 

It could be that your product is in the ‘wrong’ category. Bol.com often shows a specific category as a search result. Search for your keyword and see if the result contains this text:

Click on the search link. Is your product then found? Then it means you need to change your product category to the standard category.

2. Is your product still in stock with the same price?

In some cases a price change throws a spanner in the works. Check if your price is still the same, and you still have the product actively listed on Bol.com. If you have recently changed your price, or your product was out of stock, please let us know via the contact page.

3. Is your product linked as a product variation?

If the product you have optimized with us is linked as a product variation, it may not rank. Disconnect it to make it rank normally.
