To successfully rank a product page for a specific keyword, there are a few conditions:

1. Your product must rank within the top 150 for the keyword you provide.
2. If your product ranks outside the top 100 for the keyword, the guarantee does not apply in the first month. We will still achieve a ranking improvement, but reaching a top 10 ranking in just one month is very challenging. We recommend ordering for at least 3 months.
3. The product must have a review average of 3 stars or higher.
4. We cannot provide guarantees for products with variations, as search results may sometimes show one variation and sometimes another.
5. New: We recommend not boosting more than 33% of your product range at the same time. This may seem unnatural if it exceeds 40% to 50%.

Tip: Choose keywords that have received many clicks in your sponsored campaign, as these are seen by your customers as the most relevant.

Just like with Google SEO, we aim to give search engine algorithms what they are looking for.

In the case of Google, this primarily involves backlinks and content. For Bol.com, other factors come into play. Since we offer a ranking guarantee on our products, the risks for customers are minimal. If your product doesn’t rank or gets ranked lower, you’ll get your money back!

We cannot guarantee that Bol.com will never adjust its algorithm or take action against it. The question then is, what will happen? We don’t expect products we boost for you to suffer negative effects from this.

Why not? If that were the case, it would open the door wide for misuse against competitors. After all, the service would then become a ‘weapon’ to negatively affect a competitor’s ranking in Bol.com’s policy points.

Yes, you can keep everything active while we run a campaign — with the exception of one type of Sponsored Ads: Sponsored Ads with the placement ‘Search Results Pages’.

You just can’t advertise on the keywords you are boosting with us.

Bol.com does not show the same product in both Sponsored Ads and organic results at the same time. This makes it harder for us to improve your ranking, and your product will also be shown less frequently.

Update 20/02/23: Simple. If your product met the conditions at the start of your campaign and does not rank with at least one keyword at the guaranteed ranking level you selected, you’re entitled to a refund.

You’ll be refunded proportionally. Example: You paid for a 1-month Top 4 guarantee, but the best ranking achieved was position 5, 6, or 7 — then you’ll receive the difference between our Top 4 and Top 7 pricing.

In the case of a 1-month campaign, that would be: €259 - €196 = €63 refunded.

If we don’t reach a Top 10 ranking at all, you’ll receive 100% of your payment back.
